National Waste Care Day 2019 Event Held in Rawajati

Jakarta Environment (LH) Department commemorated National Waste Care Day (HPSN) 2019 at RW 03 of Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran, South Jakarta.

We want to create a synergy between government, locals, and business entities through this event

This event was participated by South Jakarta civil apparatuses, students, environmental care communities, and the locals. They carried out communal work to clean up the neighborhood, plant trees, and provide biopori holes.

"We want to create a synergy between government, locals, and business entities through this event," conveyed Isnawa Adji, Jakarta LH Department Head, Sunday (2/24).

Free Photography Contest is Open for Public to Enliven HPSN 2019

This event was also enlivened with talk show, storytelling, recycle demo, inspiring testimonials, recycled products bazaar, culinary, and appreciation for waste bank administrators in Rawajati Urban Village.

"HPSN 2019's theme is 'Nyok Kerja Bakti' (Let's Clean Up the Neighborhood). We use edutainment concept with purpose to raise people awareness about environment by socializing and educating them in creative way," he explained.

For information, this cleaning activity was done in all Jakarta Administrative Cities in order to commemorate HPSN 2019.
